Optical Fabrication

We can customize nearly all of our products for OEM customers with special requirements. We maintain an inventory of over 1600 tools to generate shaped optics. If you did not find what you needed in our catalog, look through our list of Radius of Curvature tools, chances are very good that we have something that will work for you for rapid prototyping and quick turnaround times.

Optical Coatings

CVI Melles Griot maintains a variety of coating technologies in its facilities around the world. We run over 60 coating chambers on three continents. This allows us the flexibility of providing “any coating on any substrate” as our sales engineers often say.

We coat optics of every shape and size. Our coatings include interference coatings for filters, anti-reflection coatings (V-Coat and Broadbands) from 193 nm to 13µm, high reflectors, broadband reflectors, polarization coatings, and everything in-between.

We can also coat transparent conducting Indium Tin Oxide coatings for liquid crystal prototyping and research
